Again! Again! AGAIN!

I think I may of finally cracked the case on the ideal figure for this character, observing this timeline we can see the frustrating though process:

On the most recent (far right) attempt, I have trimmed off some of the fur collar and already the character is making more sense and looking less cluttered. He has a bean-shaped body and I have given him stick arms again just like in the first design, which seems to work a lot better. So now I'm going to try a design with no fur collar and replace it with some sort of tooth necklace.
