The Bored Bat

This technically was in part of my development in my Animation PDP but it wasn't actually ever used in the the final designs so it doesn't really count:

1) I literally drew this character from scratch without any form of of skeleton or rough sketch to help my out

 2) This time I created shading through a loads of lines tightly packed together instead of going for block colour.

3) For colour I only added a block of dark grey and some soft white highlighting.

 4) I begun to add a sky into the drawing. Going for a blue night, using purple and cyan clouds.

5) I then added a glowing moon, plenty of stars, and some murky clouds to give a natural look to the sky.

6) Finally for the background, I added a silhouette of some trees and a house with Halloween style glowing windows. (The grass was created using the grass brush on Photoshop)
